Teaching

I am an active and enthusiastic teacher in life course sociology and social research methodology. At the Department of Sociology at Trinity College Dublin I deliver teaching to undergraduates, graduates, and post-graduate students in both large and small class size settings. Moreover, I am supervising PhD students.

Previously, at the European University Institute, I taught courses to research students (PhD students). Back in my doctoral and post-doctoral time at University of Bamberg (Germany) I was strongly involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Furthermore, I provide workshops and training courses as invited lecturer for renowned research institutes (such as GESIS and LIfBi).

My teaching experience covers quantitative (and qualitative) research methodology, basic and advanced techniques of quantitative data analysis, online research methods, comparative sociology, and sociological theory.
